Rev. Jim Melson offered the message based on Philippians 2:1-13. In this passage Paul encourages us all to remember the importance of humility and how this is lived out in the life of Jesus. Jesus humbled himself by being obedient to death-even death on a cross. Jesus showed us that the way up is to go down first. The message encouraged us to remember that God sees all people as beloved, no matter what the world thinks. The way down is the way up following the way of Jesus.
