Worship on July 21st centered on how Christ brings us peace. Rev. Dr. Gwen Andrews offered the message based on Ephesians 2:11-22. Brad Berkley led the choir in music. After church, everyone gathered for a luncheon under a tent outside provided by Woody Thomas.
On July 14th, the message offered by Rev. Larry Cochran centered on the hope that we have in Christ. We are to be a people of hope who offer hope to those around us who travel the desert of life. Rev. Lyn Harding led the choir in music. This was the first service where we changed our worship time to 11:00 AM.
Starting on July 14th, our worship service will be held at 11:00 AM each Sunday instead of 10:00 AM. Hope to see you then.
On July 7th, Rev. Dr. Jim Melson offered the message from Mark 6:2-13. The scripture related a time when Jesus when to his hometown of Nazareth and was rejected by those who knew him. Rev. Melson challenged us to see what God is doing in the here and now and not remain locked in the past. Rev. Lyn Harding led the choir in music.
On June 30th, Rev. Dr. Gwen Andrews offered a message reminding us that God will be with us in our times of need and in our times of abundance. Brad Berkley led the choir in music.
On this June 23rd, Rev. Autumn Merrill offered a message challenging us to be focused on faith. This is life changing for each one of us. Dr. Michael Ross led us in music.
The service for June 16th focused on the passage from Hebrews 12 that reminds us that we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses who are cheering us on in the race of faith. Rev. Larry Cochran offered the message. Dr. Michael Ross led the choir in music.
The worship for June 2nd centered on Psalm 139. Rev. Larry Cochran offered the message that reminded us of how much God cares for us and knows us better than we know ourselves. Dr. Michael Ross led the choir in music.
