The message for June 26 came from Galatians 5:1,13-25. Rev. Gwen Andrews preached on the fruit of the spirit which comes from the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. The spirit gives us love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Dr. Michael Ross led us in music. Rev. Autumn Merrill served as worship leader.

On Fathers Day, June 19th, Rev. Gwen Andrews offered a message titled Redirection. It came from the passage in Luke 8:26-39 where Jesus healed a man who was possessed by demons. Jesus sent him out to tell others what He had done for them. His life was redirected to make a difference in the lives of others. Dr. Michael Ross led the choir in music.

He encounters Lydia and Paul offered her the Good News of Jesus Christ. Lydia and her household received the message and were baptized by Paul and became believers. On May 15th, the message focused on a passage from Acts 11:1-18 where Peter conveyed to the church leadership that God’s love is for all people. No one is to be excluded from the grace of God. God welcomes the Jews and the Gentiles. This is a call for the church of today to be an inclusive church where all are welcomed with the hospitality of Jesus.
