On January 26th, the worship service focused on Jesus words in Luke 4 where he proclaimed what his mission was to be: to bring the good news to the poor, to proclaim release to the prisoners, recovery sight to the blind, to liberate the oppressed and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. On January 12th, Rev. Autumn Merrill offered the message from Luke 3: 15-22. The service focused on Jesus’ baptism and what it means for us in our faith journey. In the midst of the baptism, God said, “You are my son, whom I dearly love; in you I find happiness”. The message here is for all of us.

Our Christmas Eve service brought to the church the story of the birth of Jesus. The message focused on the shepherds, how God came to them first with the message of the birth of the baby in the manger. Pastor Larry Cochran shared the message from Luke 2:1-20.
