Celebratory Worship through Arts
Music is an important component of every worship experience at Belmont UMC.
We have a dedicated group of staff and volunteers who are committed to leading the congregation in worship and praise.
As a multicultural congregation, the Ministry of Music plays an integral role in enhancing the worship experience with inclusivity that speaks to the plethora of age, social and ethnic backgrounds within Belmont.

Averaging 8 members, the Chancel Choir delivers blesses the congregation with music from a vast array of genres. They include, but are not limited to, anthems, African American spirituals as well as traditional and contemporary gospel.
The Chancel Choir presents annual Easter and Christmas cantatas. A great deal of time is placed in preparing for these well received events that usually include narration by members of the congregation. The Children & Young Singers, and the Belmont Praise Dancers participate as well.
Rehearsals are held every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM. All are welcome. No audition is required.
Our Latino Music Ministry
