On March 26th, Rev. Autumn Merrill offered the message from Matthew 7:7. We are challenged to persevere in our prayer life. The words of Jesus imploring us to seek, ask and knock gives us a way forward in our prayer life that can be a breakthrough for us.
On March 19th, the service focused on the verse from the Lord’s Prayer- “Your will be done”. Rev. Dr. Clarence Brown shared at the conference about good trouble in our churches and in our community. He challenged us to look for the the pain in our community and to see how we can make a difference in the lives of others. We are to focus on our mission as a church.
Rev. Dr. Milton Hathaway spoke on the Beloved Community at our conference. Lay Leader Marie Coone opened the conference and Rev. Dr. Peter Moon served as the moderator of the conference.
