For the February 26th service, Rev. Dr. Gwen Andrews preached this message from Psalm 61:1-2. This is the beginning of a sermon series on Breakthrough prayer- how we pray “that God will breakthrough with new possibilities, hopes and dreams without limits- both in the life of the church an in our own lives… and that we surrender ourselves to what God may unfold.” The series is based on a book written by Sue Nelson Kibbey’s book titled, “Ultimate Reliance.” Today’s message focused on the verse, “Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” We also celebrated the baptism of Jordyn Stone during the service.
